Doxygen is a freeware project that aims to outfit several programming languages with a powerful documentation tool.
For now, it is capable of processing the source code for the C++, Java, C, Objective-C and IDL languages. Although it also supports others to a small degree, such as: PHP, C and D.
On the project’s web page you can find scripts developed by some users that enable syntax like Visual Basic or Perl.
One of the program’s most interesting characteristics is the ability to generate documentation in multiple formats, among them: HTML, LaTeX, RTF, PostScript or PDF.
A comfortable assistant will help you easily create the program’s source code documentation, although there are also options reserved for more advanced users.
To be able to enjoy this the comment labels have to be included correctly, otherwise the program will not function properly.
